Congresswoman Capito serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

The House Financial Services Committee oversees all components of the nation's housing and financial services sectors including banking, insurance, real estate, public and assisted housing, and securities. Congresswoman Capito sits on the Capital Markets, Financial Institutions, and Housing Subcommittees.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee oversees all government agencies and projects involving the development and maintenance of our public infrastructure, as well as oversight of federal transportation agencies. Congresswoman Capito serves on the Aviation, Highways, and Economic Development Subcommittees. This key appointment allows the congresswoman to be a strong advocate for the infrastructure needs of the 2nd District including Rt. 9 in the Eastern Panhandle and Rt. 35 in Mason and Putnam Counties.
